The Macapagal-Arroyo Administration

The EDSA People Power 2. installed Gloria Macapagal Arroyo as President. Gloria implemented policies on the distribution of land titles and health cards. She created programs that would improve the livelihood of every Filipino family. To help solve the power problem, she implemented the Electric Power Industry Reform Act. Arroyo strengthened the country's relations with other countries. The country faced many problems, such as the peace and order of the country, , and the terrorist activities of the Abu Sayyaf. Arroyo was accused of graft and corruption and is still spending time in hospital arrest.
