The economic reforms implemented by Ramos were supposed to be intended to open up for economy. His economic program was focused on trade liberalization which means taking out the restriction of free trading and privatization which mean the transferring of a public industry to a private one .Ramos is remembered in history as the president with the most number of state visits. Ramos foucused his attention on the government reconcilation program with the Muslim secessionist groups.
