Ferrets or Mustela putorius furo are related to the weasel and sometimes are mistaken for them. They were bred for hunting rabbits and other small rodents. Did you know that the word ferret means little thief? They have a long body that can squeeze under tight spaces such as doors. Although cute, they can be very very stinky like skunks. When they are excited, they do the weasel war dance.They are intelligent and there is even a ferret agillity competition! They are carnivores and their diet is mainly meat. They also like to mess up things and steal stuff. But you can't blame them because they are so adorable!
