Rabbits or Oryctolagus cuniculus are in the rodents family. Their habitats in the wild are usually meadows, woods and grasslands. Rabbits are herbivores, they like to eat grass. They can have a close relationships with guinea pigs, and birds. They require a lot of space because when they are older they can be up to 14 pounds. They also live to e up to ten years old. Rabbits get scared very easily and can get a heart attack if shocked. They can be food or used as fur. There are two kinds of rabbits, there is the floppy eared and the upright ears. Did you know the longest floppy ear was 31 inches long???
