Geckos or Eublepharis macularius have eyelids unlike any other reptile. They also have a long tongue which they can clean their eyes with it, eew but cool! They are insectivores, if you are not willing to feed them with live insects then a gecko is not for you. They are popular in the South Asia countries. They have detachable tails that protect them from predators. They are really friendly and like people. They also chirp unlike other reptiles.
