Hedgehogs

Hedgehogs are so adorable, they have a spikey armor and they make such cool pets! But, there is more to hedgehogs than what you think.

Hedgehogs or Erinaceinae are not related to the porcupine even if they look like them. Hedgehogs shed their quills, this action is called quilling. They are nocturnal . They suffer many sicknesses that are also common with humans like cancer. They are also food sources for different countries. When they are threatened they turn themselves into a ball. They also need to excersise and need space. They have a wide variety of colors. They are omnivorous so they eat veggies,insects and and even snakes.
